Summer Junior Programme (students aged 12 to 18)
We think that during summer students should not learn only from textbooks, but they also ought to explore English in different situations and contexts. That is the reason why our social programme is so important. We spend a lot of time and energy providing students with the most interesting programme outside the classroom.
Programme
Programme changes every week, which means that activities change every single week, but schedule is the same. Lessons start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 2:10 p.m. Students have a short morning break from 10:40 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. and a lunchbreak from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. On the first day students will write a test and have an oral exam. They will be put into groups based on their skills (an online test, which should be taken before departure is available in SPEAK and students do it after consultation).
Host families
Host families are chosen very carefully and in accordance with American legislation. Student will be given name and information about the host family two weeks before departure. The host family spends time with students mainly on Sunday when they may go on various trips together. The family is fully responsible for the child and provides it with breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Flights and transports
Transport is very comfortable and effective. Students will fly from Vienna. Check-in will be made before departure. Transport to the city will be efficient and parents will arrange who will go by car, but also whom they could pick up. Price includes transfer from and to the airport. We will pick a person who will wait for you and hold a sign that they work for us.
Price
Price depends on the place you choose and the term when you would like to study there.
Price includes an all-day programme from Monday to Friday + final certificate, one all-day excursion (Saturday), full board in the host family and Sunday programme with its members, transfer from and to the airport and also transport to and from school with a school bus. The price does not include only flight ticket and insurance. A recommended allowance is $70 for a week. We can give you a current price list and conditions of cancellation fees on request.

Children will obtain a student manual after their arrival to school. It includes map, meeting points, address of the host family, programme and important telephone numbers.
